Recent price checks
Independent checks comparing the hotel's own website with Booking.com for the same room and dates. Only strictly cheaper counts.

How we verify
We compare the total price (including taxes and fees) for the same room and dates on the hotel's official website and on Booking.com. A hotel keeps its seal when at least 75% of its last 8 checks are cheaper direct. Checks with no data — for example when the hotel is closed for the season — never count against it.
